Lana Del Rey lançou nesta sexta-feira (18) seu novo single, "Bluebird", marcando a segunda amostra de seu aguardado décimo álbum de estúdio, previsto para 21 de maio. A faixa, com 4 minutos e 2 segundos de duração, dá continuidade à estética country iniciada com o single anterior, "Henry, Come On", e reforça a transição da artista para uma sonoridade mais voltada ao Americana e ao country alternativo.
Produzida por Lana em parceria com Luke Laird e Drew Erickson, "Bluebird" apresenta uma instrumentação acústica e minimalista, destacando-se pela narrativa lírica intensa. A canção utiliza a metáfora do pássaro azul para retratar uma mulher que rompe com um ciclo de abuso, simbolizando libertação e autodescoberta.
O novo álbum, que se chamaria "The Right Person Will Stay", mas agora não tem um título confirmado, contará com 13 faixas. O projeto sucede o aclamado "Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd" (2023), que rendeu cinco indicações ao Grammy.
