Halsey lançou, nas principais plataformas de streaming, o seu novo single, "Lucky", nesta sexta-feira (26). A faixa traz uma interpolação com "Lucky", hit de Britney Spears, lançado no ano 2000.
Pela sua conta no X (antigo Twitter), Halsey confirmou que consultou Britney antes de gravar a música. "Eu nunca sequer sonharia em gravá-la sem a benção dela!", escreveu.
Ela fez mais elogios à princesa do pop. "Quando eu tinha cinco anos, sempre senti que a Britney estivesse cantando diretamente para mim. 24 anos depois, essas palavras batem de uma forma diferente. Te amo para sempre".
"Lucky" é esperada para fazer parte do próximo disco de Halsey, que já teve a faixa "The End" divulgada para os fãs.
